Every time a player is booked or sent off, they are assigned points based on the severity of the offense:
Action | Suspension Points |
| Yellow Card | 1 Point |
| Two Yellows (Red) | 4 Points |
| Direct Red Card | 8 or 12 Points |
| Yellow + Direct Red | 9 or 13 Points |
For every 4 points accumulated, a player receives a one-match ban. After the ban is served, 4 points are deducted from their total. Any remaining points carry over toward their next suspension.
Example:
If a player has 2 Yellows (2 pts) and then receives a severe Direct Red (12 pts), their total is 14 points. They will serve a 3-match ban (4 \times 3 = 12 points removed). They will return to the squad with 2 points already on their record.
