The development bar on a player card shows you exactly where a player stands and where they are headed. You will see it written as two numbers, for example: "356/781".
The First Number (356): This represents the total amount of skill points the player currently has, spread across all 10 attributes.
The Second Number (781): This is the player's projected potential. It shows the total skill points the player is expected to have at age 29 if you only use the daily training mini-game with a basic score.
The second number is dynamic. Each day, as a player gets one "month" older, the potential number drops slightly to reflect their new age. However, it will rise again once you complete your daily training. You can also push this number higher by consistently scoring well in the dribble mini-game.
While the daily training helps a player reach their natural limit, you can permanently increase the end potential number.
When you use Personal Trainings and Training Camps, these skill points are added on top of the player's end number and do not drop as the player ages. This is why extra training is critical: it physically expands how good a player can become, making them more effective on the pitch and significantly increasing their market value.
